Kids Changing Kids Lives One Room At A Time
Our Story
My husband, Kirt, and I, along with our four children, relocated to Raleigh, NC in 2006. Little did we know, but now it is very clear, this was the sovereign hand of GOD at work within the Storch family.
We have been blessed with our company CertaPro Painters in the North Raleigh area. With our business, we have been able to give back a great deal to the community, but felt God was still stirring something more in us. In the book of Hebrew it says, "Our main task is to live in responsive obedience to God and the act of faith." This is how Room for Hope, inc. was created.
If you are familiar with the television show "The Secret Millionaire", then you may be aware of the wonderful work demonstrated by caring people acoss our great nation. The very first night the show aired, to millions, an incredible story of women in Knoxville, Tennessee, and introduced us to Jennifer Swain who started a non-profit company, "Special Spaces".
Jennifer's desire and passion for children led her to the idea of creating room make-overs for deserving children. She has been changing children's lives in the Tennessee Valley area for some time now. This was IT!!! This was the message I had been praying for. It was clear; God was speaking into my life.
I believe God has always had a hand in our lives and continues to build a strong foundation with the amazing people he has placed in our path. I have always been amazed when God is trying to get our attention the lengths He will go to introduce His vision. God's vision has now become our own, and we are looking forward to assisting Him extend His hand to deserving young people. This is why we have established Room for Hope, inc. in Raleigh, NC as a 501-C3 not-for-profit organization.
